History of Haledon, NJ
Established in 1908 as a suburb of Paterson. It borders the William Paterson University Campus. Located between Wayne and Paterson in Passaic County. The home of Pietro and Maria Botto is located at 83 Norwood Street, Haledon. Established as a national landmark in 1983, it was the meeting place of over 20,000 strikers during the 1913 Paterson Silk Strike.
